Robust and Hungry but still compact this chipper is the starting point in the Heizomat chipper range.
With an in-feed opening of 12” x 20” this chipper can tackle anything from 12″ trunks to treetops. The combination of a pressure roller and a conveyor table, enables the chipper to easily pull in tops with branches, saving the operator time and energy. No need to limb the trees!
The built in screen comes in the standard size of 1 1/3″ and optional 1″, and 2″ chip sizes.

Hand-Fed 16″ In-Feed 20-25 m3/hr
Our biggest hand fed chipper, it has an in-feed of 16” x 26” allowing it to tackle anything from large tree trunks to tops and branches.
Like all Heizohack chippers, the feed system has a conveyor belt and a pressure roller to self feed anything you throw at it.
This model is our most energy efficient chipper – with a 470kg flywheel – it uses very little energy to produce lots of wood chips.

Hand-Fed 16″ In-Feed 20-25 m3/hr
This cross between the HM 8-400 and HM 8-400 K, is specifically designed to produce larger wood chips, using the crane fed model’s rotor and blades.
The wider and thicker blades are able to make bigger and thicker chips that are typically used in Combined Heat and Power systems, or for larger biomass boilers that are designed to work with coarse fuel.
The 8-400 Green can also produce smaller chips by changing the screen to the desired size.
