We have changed our Operations because of the Heizomat System.
The uncertainty of the COVID years made Michael and his parents, decided to move forward with the transition from Oil to Automated Woodchip Heat. Up to this point they had been very frugal in the use of heating. Contracting out many of the early stages of plant growth, they started as late in the season as possible to save on oil costs.
Since installing Heizomat’s Automated Woodchip Heating system, they have made a complete change in their operations.
Starting the boiler in October and keeping at least two of the greenhouses hot all winter has added 4 months of growing season to their operation.
This has enabled them to take back a lot of their Propagation processes.
Michael did some extensive research online and then took a serious look at 3 different brands.
In the end he decided on a Heizomat boiler due to:
- The quality of construction. “When you look at the actual boiler body when that thing is first delivered, I mean you’d swear it was like a tank being unloaded at your operation.“
- The quality of Support. Offering Lifetime support was “huge, above and beyond anything else.”
When asked if he got what he wanted, Michael says:
“That has absolutely been my experience. The people I have dealt with from Heizomat have all been absolutely fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable about their product and being able to lead me through troubleshooting. Heizomat was there every step of the way for all of the things they had agreed to do they always delivered.”
