Speed Regulated and Auto Reversing Infeed

Controlling the speed of your in-feed table is as simple as adjusting a dial.  This gives you even more control over your chip size and quality as well as volume output.

When pushing your tractor and chipper to its maximum capacity with large, hardwood material, the chipper’s auto reversing in-feed starts, stops and auto-reverses in reaction to the PTO speed.  If your tractor is getting bogged down by the heavy load, the in-feed will stop, back up and allow the PTO to get back up to speed before pulling the fuel in again.

Smart technology that takes care of your equipment.

Pressure Roller Pulling in the Fuel

Working in conjunction with the conveyor table, this hungry pressure roller is hydraulically driven.

As you drop the log/branch/wood pieces on to the table, the aggressive knobs start pulling it in.  The pressure roller makes contact and rises with the size of the wood – keeping pressure on it and effectively pulling it in to the chipper.

There is no need to apply pressure or push.  The chipper does the work.  Once it takes hold, the chipper does the rest.

An additional conveyor can be installed on the feed table, allowing for smoother and easier feeding of smaller trees and branches.

An further advantage of the extra conveyor is the removal of dirt and rocks.  Before they get into the chipper, they fall off between the 2 conveyors, considerably extending the life of your blades and counter blade.

Heavy Flywheel

Why make your tractor do all the work?

A beast of a built-in fly-wheel, uses momentum to add strength and resilience and of course great fuel efficiency to your chipping process.

These chippers aren’t just green in colour they are clean and green by design.

Create Perfect Chip

With 3 standard screen sizes and custom options available, you can produce the perfect chip for your application:

  • Biomass Boiler Fuel
  • Animal Bedding
  • Blueberry Farming Bedding
  • Mulch
  • Composting

Standard screen sizes:

  • 50/50mm
  • 35/35mm
  • 20/20mm

Long Lasting Blades

Made of toughened steel, these blades are simple to sharpen and adjust … And they last.

All Heizohack chippers are equipped with multiple blades.  When feeding rocks or metal by accident, there is less damage using multiple smaller blades instead of 2 wider blades.  The cost of operation is lower and installation and adjustments are easier.

Unlike most chippers on the market, you do not need to use a special machine to sharpen the blades.

Using multiple small blades also means there is no need to worry about balancing the weight on the drum.

When it comes to replacement time, you will be surprised how inexpensive it is.

Central Lubrication

For an increased lifetime of all grease-able parts and time saving for the operator, all Heizohack crane-fed chippers can be equipped with an automatic central lubrication system that greases the chipper parts while in operation.

It can also lube the crane as well.

Perfect for our larger chippers that are very tall and have many lubrication points.

Maintenance

Easy On Site Maintenance

One of the truly great features of Heizomat Chippers is the sheer ease of on-site maintenance.

Sharpen your blades with a flapper disc.

Reset them quickly.

Easy to access lubrication points.

Onboard Toolbox keeping everything at your fingertips.

Wear plates on the blower and chute.

Chip Deflector and Telescopic Chute Extension

The Telescopic Chute with up to 700mm additional extension is hydraulically controlled.

A deflector at the tip of the flap can be positioned to put the chips just where you want them.

Radio Remote Control

You want to load your chipper with an excavator or forwarder, but still need to control the chipper?

No problem!

All Heizomat crane-fed chippers can be equipped with an additional radio remote control allowing the operator to control all chipper features.

Foot Pedals in the Tractor Cab

For increased productivity, foot pedals controlling different parts of the feed system can be installed in the cab of the tractor.

This allows operators to keep their hands on the joysticks at all times.

Dust Reduction Cyclone

Woodchippers produce dust and sometimes it gets messy.

Our larger wood chippers can be equipped with a cyclone system to reduce the amount of dust coming out of the chute.

Airborne chips and dust fall down to the ground below the chute

Onboard Tool Box

For those quick adjustments and onsite blade sharpening or chipper maintenance, a handy built in tool box carrying all the essential tools is included.

Onboard Camera

A camera system and monitor is available for all crane-fed chippers.

Optional locations include on the discharge chute or a reverse camera behind the chipper.

In-feed System Rotation Indicator

This feature shows the operator whether the feed system is moving forward, reversing or is stopped.

Emergency Stop Buttons

Emergency Stop Buttons are located on either side of the In-Feed for quick access.

Safety Device on Blade/Rotor Cover

This rotor lock device serves as a warning to the operator if they try to open the blade cover while the rotor is still turning.

The device will catch the turning cog wheel, warning the operator not to further loosen the locking bolts.

Sturdy Work Platform for Working at Height.

When the trailer chassis axles are mounted below the chipper, access to the blades is no longer accessible at ground level.

In this case, all our crane fed chippers are equipped with a work platform and guard rail to safely work on the blades at height.

Smart.  Simple.  Mechanical.  Reliable.

It’s the Heizomat Way.
